Natalie Carrillo, DVM, DACVIM - Large Animal Internal Medicine
Dr. Natalie Carrillo received her veterinary degree (Medico Veterinario) from the Universidad Central de Venezuela in 2000. She completed an internship in equine medicine and surgery at Peterson and Smith equine hospital in Ocala Florida in 2001. After finishing a residency at the University of Florida, she was awarded Diplomate status in the American College of Veterinary Internal medicine, large animal specialty, in 2005. She completed the foreign graduate diploma (ECFVG) obtaining her DVM in 2006. After one year of clinical instructorship in large animal medicine, Dr. Carrillo moved to Spain and helped establish and organize the internal medicine and neonatal intensive care unit of one of the most outstanding private practices of that country. She next returned home to America with a new family member to continue practicing large animal internal medicine.
Dr. Carrillo's areas of special interest include neonatology and respiratory pathology.
